He forms a deep bond with fellow medical student Carin Fisher Monica Potter before a tragedy causes Adams to re-evaluate his approach. Viewing it should be mandatory for medical students,even as a good review for today's doctors who may need a gentle reminder to be attentive, practice compassion, understanding and being empathetic towards their patients.
